The Road is Never-Ending by Jyoti Upadhyay

I am pedaling till my last breath,
To Reach my destiny;
After a while I took a pause, to dry my sweat;
But, everyone is running towards their destiny,
And I too started pedaling again,
But, the road is Never-Ending;

After a while, I came across a mountain,
Surrounded by green lashes,
I stopped by to admire the beauty,
But, everyone is running towards their destiny;
And, I too started pedaling again,
But, the road is Never-Ending;

After a while, I reached a valley,
Covered by colourful flowers,
I stopped by to take a deep breath;
But, everyone is running towards their destiny;
And I too started pedalling again,
But, the road is Never-Ending;

After a while, I reached a bumpy road,
I felt tired and wanted to rest for the day;
But, everyone is running towards their destiny,
And I too started pedaling again,
But, the road is Never-Ending;

After a while, I met a few children,
Wanted to cross a crowed road;
And I thought of help them,
But, everyone is running towards their destiny;
And, I too started pedaling again,
But, the road is Never-Ending;

After a while, I met an old couple,
Carrying heavy loads on their shoulder;
I wanted to carry their loads until their destiny,
But, everyone is running towards their destiny;
And, I too started pedaling again,
But, the road is Never-Ending;

After a while, I felt like I have to decide my own Destiny,

Rather than following others,
If I follow everyone, I will never reach my own destiny;
So, I stopped pedaling and decided to rest for the day,
Because, the road is Never-Ending,
And tomorrow will be a new start,

A journey for my own destiny,

With a new era of hope;

Because, the road is Never-Ending.
