Support Groups

Being diagnosed with Turner’s syndrome can be a frightening experience. It can leave many questions to ask. We are there for those with TS or their loved ones or for those who care to learn more about it.

Our informal support groups are a great place to find a friendly ear to listen to your concerns.

Like a Butterfly – Movie

Like A Butterfly is a story of salvation and redemption, with the metaphor of the metamorphosis of a butterfly. Through the eyes of a diagnosis of the genetic condition Turner Syndrome, the film shows Brooke’s story of surviving a life threatening genetic condition many doctors thought would mean she would not be born alive.

Through her journey with infertility, Brooke decided to share her story on YouTube on her channel Brooke TV. This also gave her the opportunity to meet and speak with other women with Turner Syndrome whose stories she is excited to share in the film. Her and her husband Andrew had a very long journey in pursuing adoption, one that lasted 6 years due to house projects, housing space limitations, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

A huge thank you to the lovely Brooke for allowing us to join her on this journey. Check back for more updates soon!
